The State Board of Education is responsible for ensuring district compliance with the program of Basic Education, and annually conducts a survey that allows districts to affirm compliance.

For the first time in eight years, all three of our comprehensive high schools are back in the 4A South Puget Sound League.

This week we dive headfirst into our school district’s budget to better understand school funding in Washington.
Our Mission
Challenger High School provides a safe and equitable community for educating and inspiring students in preparation for their futures. We provide academic, social and emotional supports for the whole student to foster responsible local and global citizenship. Smaller class sizes allow individualized and innovative teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.
